I began my real estate career in 2011 when I joined my wife Stephanie in her real estate business in Columbus, MT, which she established in 2003.  My previous career was in Banking and spanned over 25 years and I was both a Branch Manager and a lender.  As a lender I became proficient in originating Secondary Market Real Estate loans.

I grew up in Montana on a farm and ranch and was able to continue my love for agriculture as a lender, handling a large volume of agriculture operating, term and long term real estate loans.  I have experience working with Farm Service Agency as well as Farmer Mac long term loans.  I also originated commercial loans which consisted of operating, term and long term real estate loans.  I used SBA and RD loan programs regularly, originating and selling them on the secondary market.  My experience as a lender has provided great insight into the requirements that buyers face when their purchase also involves financing.

My Banking career helped make a smooth transition to the local Montana Real Estate industry helping Buyers and Sellers achieve their desired outcomes, and I enjoy the Real Estate business tremendously.
